The Maritime Club of Port Elizabeth was opened by Admiral Sir Herbert Packer, K.C.B. C.B.E. R.N. on Tuesday the 29th of January 1957. It was established as a Memorial to Maritime Officers who gave their lives during the wars of 1914-1918 & 1939-1945.

The Maritime Club caters for any function, whether it is for a birthday, wedding, anniversary or business meetings.
The Club boasts with a large hall, public bar, back bar, cinema, braai area and a snooker room with table and cues. Ample parking also available.
